Recovery Following Breast Explant Surgery (Breast Implant Removal) [Part 1]

This also minimizes the need for narcotic pain medication, which can make you groggy and cause constipation. To minimize the risk of infection, Dr. Whitfield does not use drains. Contrary to popular belief, the research shows that drains cause more infections because incisions are exposed to the outside environment and irritated by the drain itself.
